Today's satellite phone report from Cameron (10 feb. 7:57pm PST):
"I'm camping on a lake of ice. The ice is black and six feet thick. There are cracks in the ice; sometimes they
are filled with white snow. The cracks look like lightening bolts caught in the ice.
I am nine [9] miles from Admirality Bay and had an excellent day walking. However, to make it to Barrow in
time for the Arctic People's festival, tomorrow I need to begin my return to Barrow. It should take me about
three [3] to four [4] days."
